We were so fortunate to meet Lucie when my mother was diagnosed with cancer the second time. The moment we brought my mom to meet Lucie and see her house, my mother was relieved. The transition for my mom to move from her own home to having full-time care was difficult. Lucie and her staff were so loving and nurturing I couldn't believe how fast my mother adapted. Knowing how particular my mom could be about her meals, I was amazed to hear my mom quickly praise Lucie's home cooking. Unfortunately, my mother's cancer progressed rapidly. Initially we were concerned that my mother might have to move to another facility. Lucie immediately reassured us that my mom was welcome to stay and then Lucie began guiding us through this last phase of my mom's life. When it came time for Hospice intervention, Lucie served as a bridge for my mom to feel at ease with the new care she needed. Looking back on how much we depended on Lucie, I am still taken by the ease and confidence we had leaving my mom at the end of each day. I think Lucie prolonged my mom's life with her charm and wonderful care. Knowing my mom was receiving such compassion and assistance gave dignity to her struggle and Lucie's care helped my family through that exhausting time. I know my mother was comfortable, relaxed and enjoyed the love and attention she deserved right up to her last breath. Lastly, I cannot speak highly enough of how sensitive and comforting Lucie was when she called to summon us for our last visit. I recommend Lucie and her "Cozy Cottage" to anyone looking for a dignified and loving environment.

To whom it may concern, I placed my mother, Mary, in Lucie Zachay's home in March of this year and I am very pleased. It had been dangerous for my mother to live in my home due to her falling a lot. It was very stressful because my husband and I both work. Since my mom has been with Lucie, she has adjusted well to her new surroundings. I can tell she is well cared for. Lucie provides a loving home and great meals. I live close by so I can drop in any time and I always feel welcome when I come. Finding Lucie has been a tremendous relief for me and my family. I highly recommend Lucie Zachary for anyone looking for an assisted living arrangement

Dear Lucie and Gil, My grandmother, Cherrie Sevick, was so fortunate to share your loving home. You not only took such good care of her, you took a real interest in her live, who she was, her family, and her friends. You and your staff truly cared for her and loved her. Everyone who visited her commented on the incredible care she was receiving in your home, her home. My grandmother was where she needed to be, I only wish we could have found your sooner so that all of her elder care was with you. I can't thank you enough for the way you helped me during her passing. Your knowledge and comfort walked me and my family through this most difficult time. Not only did you make her so comfortable, you went above and beyond by caring for the family. The residents in your home are fortunate to be under your care. I think they are so lucky to be with care givers who engage them, provide fun conversations, laugh with them, and, oh yeah, the wonderful meals they share together. God Bless you and your staff. I'll always stay in touch and look forward to visiting again and again. Forever Grateful,
